Stories of the risen dead and a gateway to hell, told with a half-smirk in the light of day and in hushed undertones at night. Hot, dry air with the earthy scent of familiar but unplaceable minerals. Lights flickering mesmerically just around the corner. Few who enter the Scintilla ever return.

Notes

A collection of scattered caves that are generally off limits. Perhaps the occasional adventurer or archaeologist will go through the very upper levels, but most are wise enough to avoid them. Clear warning signs accompany the area; parents living near an entrance warn their children with stories of slumbering undead who will drag them into the depths. There have been a few attempts to mine the glowing magic ore found inside.
