Session 01

Tasked with dealing with a group of road robbers, the Fellowship sits outside the camp to discuss plans. Runato tries throwing up some signs which don’t translate very well which leads us to just whispering. Our party at first decides to try and avoid any bloodshed by negotiating; Emilia and Lei take off to do so, while Sylo, Runato, and the crew stay behind in hiding. The diplomats' weapons are soon confiscated and they are bombarded with questions of what they’re doing here. Emilia spins a tale of them going hunting while Lei strums a magical musical accompaniment, while the two secretly pry for info through the brigands' words and the camp's state.

When Runato and Sylo grow impatient, Runato encourages Sylo to disturb the animals in the pen in order to cause a distraction. After some persuasion and conversion with Sylo’s deity, Sylo turns into a bird and stirs chaos, disturbing the wyverns by acting as bait. In the chaos, a hostage from the brigands escapes, a Roadwarden. Runato questions them and after realizing they’re hiding something, the two begin a dispute. Tensions rise once one of Emilia’s crewmates is taken hostage; Kifle had somehow gotten his hands on Emilia’s confiscated gun. Lei comes in from the back with her harp and whacks him in the head. Simultaneously, in the chaos Emilia steals some documents from a Triumvirate mage that strangely was in the camp, laying out some blank papers and spilling ink over them to make it seem like the mage knocked the bottle on their way out. Sylo soon after flees from the scene out of the wyverns reach, feeling strangely sated by the chaos they’ve caused.
